First let me say I started building websites using Microsoft Frontpage 98. So I have developed hundreds of websites for friends, myself and just for charity. Today I will NOT build a standard website. Why? WordPress is much easier, takes minutes to install, looks great and is very very SEO friendly. As in any site, content is king as log as it is original and though out.
Why spend countless hours crafting graphics, HTML, MySQL, PHP, Ajax and all of the other scripts needed to build a standard website when WordPress has all of this. The first step is to go to WordPress and download the latest version of wordpress.
Then go to the wordpress installation link and all of the instructions are in your hands.
